Careers Week in Class 1

Class 1 have been inspired by lots of visitors! They have thoroughly enjoyed learning about various careers, from nursing to farming, firefighting and working offshore on wind turbines!! During our visits the children have loved handling the tools and equipment needed to keep safe on the job and it has been wonderful to see their engagement and enthusiasm! It was wonderful to have lambs visit us and learn about life on a farm and the children thoroughly enjoyed having a turn at shooting water from a fire hose and sitting inside a fire engine!
We have learned about different head gear needed across careers from scuba diving to racing car driving and used our wonderful writing skills to design a leaflet! Dressed in costume, sharing their interests and aspirations with one another was the perfect end to an inspiring week!
