Safeguarding

At Blackmore Primary School, we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety and welfare of all children. It is everyone's responsibility to keep children safe from harm. 

If you have any safeguarding concerns, please telephone the school office, during term time between 8.30am-3.45pm, and ask for the Designated Safeguarding Lead- 01277 821528, or email admin@blackmore.essex.sch.uk and mark the email URGENT Safeguarding. 

Our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is Mrs Andrea Farrant (Headteacher). 

Our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads (DDSL) are Miss Jessica Mills (Deputy Headteacher), Miss Louise Bellamy (SENDCo) and Mrs Jenny Emmett (School Business Manager). 

Our Safeguarding Governor is Deborah Moppett.

If you are concerned that a child is at risk of immediate significant harm, the first action is to call 999.

If you have concerns about adults that work with children, contact the LADO (Local Authority Designated Officer) on 03330 139797.

To seek child protection advice, if you have concerns about the safety or well-being of our children, contact the Children and Families Hub on 0345 603 7627.
