Join in our class maths Zoom at 9am (or watch it later on SeeSaw). The link to the White Rose Maths video is also below, should you need further explanation.
Try to have a felt tip pen (easier for me to see on Zoom) and paper (or a whiteboard and pen if you're lucky enough to have one!) ready for our Zoom!
Watch your group's video. Make sure you have some paper to write on or your whiteboard and pen - I will ask you to upload your writing to SeeSaw. Then have a go at your worksheet.
Join in our 11am English Zoom Lesson (or watch later on SeeSaw).
There is no sheet for today - I would like you to find some fiction and non-fiction books and make a video telling me how you know which is which and upload it to SeeSaw. Then spend some time reading some non-fiction books. What features can you spot? Remember - there are lots of fiction and non-fiction books on Bug Club if you don't have any at home!
If you would like something extra, you can have a go at this non-fiction comprehension all about Helen Sharman.
We are going to try something new this week and try to mimic how our guided reading works in class. Each group will have a turn to stay on our afternoon Zoom and do their guided reading with me. I will share a book on the screen that we will read and discuss together. The other groups will each have an activity of either comprehension, a book review, phonics or free reading (they can choose some of their favourite stories and read for 15-20 minutes). If you are free reading you could always video yourself reading me a story!
Blue Group - you are staying on the Zoom this afternoon for guided reading.
Orange group - you are 'free reading' (like when we sit in the reading corner and read our favourite books).
